Import local media
Use Import to add audio or video from Files or Photos. Imported files are copied into DarkPlayer's local app storage for offline playback.

WiFi Transfer
Open WiFi Transfer in the app, then open the displayed address or scan the QR code from another device on the same WiFi network. Keep DarkPlayer open until uploads finish.
Google Drive import
Connect Google Drive from the Import screen, choose audio or video files, and import them into a playlist. Google handles sign-in; DarkPlayer only imports selected media.
Equalizer and playback
Open the Equalizer from Settings or the Now Playing screen to adjust 10-band tuning and presets. Background playback can be controlled from the lock screen and headphones.
Troubleshooting
- If WiFi Transfer cannot open, confirm both devices are on the same WiFi network.
- If Google Drive sign-in fails, confirm the Google account has access to the selected files.
- If a file cannot play, try importing a common audio or video format such as MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, M4A, MP4, or MOV.
- If lock screen controls do not appear, start playback in DarkPlayer and keep background audio enabled for the app.
