Open Lesscreen, connect Screen Time and approve access in the system prompt. Start a focus session or open a template, select the apps, categories or websites you want to restrict, then save or start your plan.

Screen Time must be authorized first. A plan also needs at least one selected app, category or website. Check the validation message below the save button. Scheduled blocking must last at least 15 minutes; focus sessions also start at 15 minutes.

More than one plan may apply. Ending one plan does not cancel the others. Check active focus sessions, schedules and reached daily limits. A protected plan cannot be changed inside Lesscreen during its active period.

No. Each plan has one shared budget for its selection. For example, a 30-minute plan is 30 minutes combined, not 30 minutes for every selected app. The budget resets at local midnight. On iOS 17.4 and later, earlier use from the same day is included.

Yes. A schedule such as 11 pm to 7 am ends the following morning. The selected weekday is the day the blocking period starts.

Check Screen Time permission, selected apps, weekdays and whether the plan is paused. Open a plan marked as needing attention and use Restore monitoring if available. Test on a physical iPhone; the simulator does not verify real Screen Time blocking.

The 1.0.2 redesign starts with a new plan structure. Older plans are not migrated. Reconnect Screen Time and create your plans again.

Lesscreen follows your preferred language. Choose an available app language in iOS Settings. English, Spanish, French, German, Simplified Chinese and Vietnamese are supported. No account is required. You can delete inactive, unprotected plans in the app; see the Privacy Policy for diagnostics and privacy requests.
